Тофа(лар) теле

Хәерле көн. Извините, только по-русски могу писать. "Бу очракта "лар" - күплек кушымчасы түгел" - ваш комментарий не совсем верный, если учесть, что тофалары - тюркский народ. В тофаларском языке суффикс "лар" имеет то же значение, что и в татарском. Самоназвание тофаларов - "тофа", а "тофалар" фактически должно переводиться как "тофы". Но в руский язык название народа почему-то вошло с множественным окончанием.

Мне показалось, что татарский язык не обязательно заимствует слова и самоназвания наций посредством русского языка. Сравните с английским: Tofa language, турецким: "Тофача". На "Тофа теле" не настаиваю, но оно кажется более приемлемым. Особенно если взглянуть на странную конструкцию "тофаларларның". --Alkra 31 окт 2010, 06:28 (UTC)

В университете я посещаю дисциплину "Введение в тюркологию", которая преподается на татарском языке. На одной из лекций доцент кафедры современного татарского языка дала название народа как тофаларлар. Ваш довод кается мне более правильным.
